The Uvalde Youth Rodeo Club will host its first points-night competition of the 2026 summer rodeo season on June 16 in the Uvalde County Fairplex Arena.

Action will get underway at 6:30 p.m. The order of competition events includes lead-line competition, dummy roping, cloverleaf barrels, double mugging, tie-down roping, straight barrels, breakaway roping, pole bending, ribbon roping, goat tying, team roping, and chute dogging.

Age divisions for competition include lead line, 7-year-olds and under, 8- to 10-year-olds, 11-to 13-year-olds, and 14- to 19-year-olds.
