CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - At La Palmera Mall Tuesday, students signed on the dotted line - not for a sport or a scholarship, but for something just as meaningful: a job.

Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend hosted its annual Summer Earn and Learn, or SEAL, Signing Day, celebrating students from across the region as they officially entered the workforce for the summer.

"Today we're having our Summer Earn and Learn Signing Day," said Imelda Trevino, a student hireability navigator with Workforce Solutions.
