LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - As the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks nears, area departments are reflecting on the impact.

The attacks changed policies across the country - from how people move through airports, to the way even the smallest departments operate."There were numerous emails right after 9/11," Russ Perkins, the Idalou Fire Chief, reflected.
