KILLEEN, Texas - Killeen police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old man found in a field Friday morning, and one person has been detained in connection with the investigation.

Officers were dispatched at about 6:06 a.m. Nov. 6 to the intersection of Love Road and Horne Drive for a report of a person whose status was unknown, the Killeen Police Department said in a news release.

Officers found the man dead in a nearby field.
