A new economic impact study shows New Braunfels' hospitality and tourism industry generates $1.3 billion annually and supports 16,475 jobs while providing significant tax benefits to residents.

A recently completed 2025 New Braunfels hospitality economic impact study by Impact Data Source has linked visitor spending to 16,475 jobs, $57. 4 million in local tax revenue and approximately $725 in annual homeowner property tax savings.
Hospitality also generates $1. 3 billion in annual economic impact and pays $376. 3 million in wages - accounting for 32% of New Braunfels' total employment.
"Tourism works for New Braunfels every day," Visit New Braunfels President Tanya Pence said.
