Precinct 2 Commissioner Jerome Chavez recently provided the Pioneer with an update on work underway at the pool and additional improvements planned throughout James Rooney Park, including future pool-floor repairs, irrigation improvements, shade over the playground and the eventual restoration of Pit No. 2.
