As Houston gears up for the 2027 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the organization is also preparing to break ground on a major project expected to shape the future of the Rodeo for years to come.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 17 for its new agricultural complex along Highway 288, a more than 1 million-square-foot facility that represents the largest single facilities investment in the organization's history.
The event will also include the official naming of the new complex, the release of updated renderings and remarks from Rodeo leadership and other distinguished guests.
